PayClearLog in

Changelog

What changed in PayClear, newest first. Written for the people who use it: physicians, the companies that pay them, and the institutions that track it.

Week of October 12, 2026

  • Everyone. PayClear can live on your phone. On an iPhone, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen; on Android or a computer, use the Install prompt. It opens full screen like an app and lands you on your own workspace.
  • Physicians. Turn on notifications for a phone or computer in Settings, and you get a short alert when a company adds a payment for you to confirm, asks for a confirmation, proposes an engagement, opens your invoice, marks it paid, or answers a dispute. Never an amount. Email is unchanged.
  • Companies. Your team can turn on notifications too: a short alert when a physician answers a request, confirms or disputes a pre-file line, opens a dispute, or marks an invoice received.
  • Institutions. Institution accounts now require two-factor sign-in: a code from an authenticator app as well as your password. You set it up once, the next time you sign in.
  • Companies. Manufacturer accounts now require two-factor sign-in too, set up once the next time you sign in.
  • Everyone. Our privacy policy now describes the sign-in and security records we keep, including the IP address and browser of each sign-in, and that they are deleted after one year.
  • Institutions. Import a whole roster at once and invite every physician on it in one step.
  • Institutions. Hand a department one signup link, with a QR code for a slide, instead of inviting physicians one by one.
  • Institutions. The Overview has a "New since" feed: new relationships from physicians who share with you, within days of being recorded.
  • Institutions. When a physician shares their ledger with you, each line shows whether it is disputed and whether the company has confirmed it.
  • Physicians. If a dispute cannot reach the company yet, we tell you so instead of leaving it silent.

Week of October 5, 2026

  • Physicians. Paste the disclosure paragraph you already use and see where it differs from your ledger.
  • Physicians. If we verified your identity by hand, you can now run the automated ID check without losing anything.
  • Physicians. Paid and void invoices settle cleanly, and you get one receipt email instead of several.
  • Physicians. The email digest now reaches every physician with something waiting, not just the first batch.
  • Institutions. Sign an attestation with a fresh code from your authenticator app.
  • Institutions. The Overview, report and response-time pages load much faster on large rosters.
  • Companies. Workspaces come in three access tiers, and each tab shows what your tier includes.
  • Everyone. Book a 15-minute call with us from the home page and from every page for institutions and companies.

Week of September 28, 2026

  • Physicians. If someone else claimed your record, verifying your identity hands it back to you.
  • Physicians. The sign-in prompt names the authenticator app you set up, and an accepted code takes you straight in.
  • Physicians. Change your login email yourself. We confirm it from the new mailbox.
  • Physicians. Invoices gain a locked hourly rate across service lines, the company's PO number, a payment category on every line and a month-end CSV.
  • Physicians. Forward a remittance email to your PayClear address and the matching invoice is marked paid. You also keep your own copy of the received and paid record.
  • Physicians. A sent invoice now shows whether it was delivered and whether the company opened the link.
  • Physicians. An office admin you invited can submit a finished draft. You get a direct link to review and send it.
  • Physicians. When CMS republishes its data, we re-read your record and point to the exact line that changed.
  • Physicians. A pre-file line you confirm lands on your ledger, and you can tell your institution about it.
  • Companies. A company that receives an invoice by email gets its own page to view it and open its workspace.
  • Companies. A paid invoice proposes its own pre-file line, and each line shows the physician's dated answer beside the published record.
  • Companies. Send pre-file lines to teaching hospitals, and turn an emailed expense report into pre-file lines.
  • Companies. The CMS payments tab marks which physicians are already reconciling with you.
  • Companies. A group workspace can look at one filing entity on its own.
  • Everyone. Expired or used links now tell you exactly what to do next instead of a dead end.

Week of September 21, 2026

  • Physicians. Receipts ride along with the invoice email as PDFs, and an office admin can attach them to drafts.
  • Physicians. The email digest tells you when a company has pre-file lines waiting for your answer.
  • Physicians. The first scan after signup is faster.
  • Institutions. See the public payment record for your whole roster, not one physician at a time.
  • Institutions. Large rosters load in seconds and render in pages, so a big roster no longer freezes the tab.
  • Companies. We send pre-file invites to physicians for you, and one expense-report upload stores every line.
  • Companies. Imports show the date each physician answered and never guess an import date.
  • Everyone. Invited office staff and compliance officers sign up on their invite page and are no longer sent to the physician signup.
  • Everyone. The privacy policy now says plainly which provider reads the documents you upload.

Week of September 14, 2026

  • Physicians. Invite an office admin to draft your invoices. You stay the one who sends them.
  • Physicians. Your invoice is matched to the manufacturer's filing, and you hold the confirm.
  • Institutions. Run a collection cycle as a guided campaign: pick who to ask, launch, follow up and keep the evidence.
  • Institutions. A monthly briefing of what your program watched and what moved.
  • Companies. Check confirmed pre-file lines against your own CMS filing before you submit it.
  • Companies. Pre-file amounts well above the typical range for that kind of payment are flagged for a second look.
  • Companies. Subscriptions start from a signed order form.
  • Everyone. If you belong to more than one account, you pick which one to open instead of seeing an error.
  • Everyone. Every hospital in the federal record now has its own public page.
  • Everyone. Our privacy policy, terms, contact and careers pages are public.

Week of September 7, 2026

  • Physicians. Upload a contract and the invoice fills itself in.
  • Physicians. Invoices number per company, edit in place while in draft and freeze once sent.
  • Physicians. Record when a payment arrives, so pending reads as pending.
  • Physicians. The emailed invoice carries your name, our mark and a PDF ready for the company's files. One send reaches every contact you have at that company.
  • Physicians. Invoices print cleanly on their own page and read well on a phone.
  • Physicians. Send your disclosure report to any hospital.
  • Physicians. Change your password while signed in, without an email round trip.
  • Physicians. The welcome walkthrough ends by asking how often you want to hear from us.
  • Physicians. Your ledger shows what you were paid on a phone.
  • Institutions. Facility pickers find hospitals by CCN and include the cancer hospitals CMS leaves out.
  • Institutions. Every tab reads your whole roster, and the committee packet reads like a document.

Week of August 31, 2026

  • Physicians. The public-record scan reads patent filings again.
  • Institutions. The home screen names physicians the public record ties to your facility who are not on your roster yet, with a one-click add.
